The goal of the course is to know how to identify and approach specific language patterns in order to better understand oneself and others. Each participant will also have the opportunity to work on a personal problem, applying the techniques learned as the day progresses. These aspects, together with the many targeted exercises, make this training program a practical and personalized experience that is immediately transferable to daily life. Three free meetings will follow to provide space for questions, concerns and further practice.

Why is it that when we argue with a friend or partner we sometimes feel like we are getting nowhere?

Is it a matter of convincing the other person of the correctness of our thinking, or are we the ones who do not understand what we are being told?

What does it mean to communicate effectively?

In the course of their studies of human excellence, the three founders of what would later be known as NLP studied precise language patterns used by some of the greatest therapists of their time. By combining their analyses with the transformational grammar model, they were able to design the so-called “Metamodel”, first presented in the book “Structure of Magic – Vol. I”.

What is the “Metamodel” and why is it important for you to know it?

Every day we use words to convey our affection to a loved one, to talk to a friend about a problem, to give instructions at work, to relate to customers, to teach at school, and more. Language, however, cannot always accurately represent what we want to communicate. Indeed, we often generalize some situations, distort certain facts or omit specific details, creating a consistent difference between words and what they represent. One of the purposes of the metamodel is precisely to bridge this difference, providing us with the ability to go backward and retrieve the original information hidden behind a person’s sentences. Thus, having such a tool means no longer experiencing words as chains, no longer getting trapped in our own or others’ speech, but having the ability to investigate, listen and understand more deeply.

How do you utilize language in your daily life?
How do the words you use and hear affect every aspect of your life?
How to develop the ability to go beyond language?

Find out on June 3 in the course “The Metamodel – The Art of Using Language”, where I will give you the tools to revolutionize your relationship with words.

Why participate in this course?

  • to be more aware of the emotional impact of one’s words;
  • to know oneself and others more deeply;
  • not to be a victim of language.

Participating in this course enables you in practice to:

  • guard against the use of others’ language;
  • approach problems differently;
  • do not make a snap judgment about a person;
  • make the interlocutor aware of how he or she is processing information;
  • give and get information with an arbitrary level of accuracy and specificity.

During the course you will learn:

  • what is meant in NLP by distortions, generalizations and deletions;
  • the 12 linguistic distinctions of the metamodel;
  • to identify the linguistic patterns of the metamodel in your own and another person’s language;
  • to find out what the original information behind one’s words is;
  • how to deal with a problem by applying the metamodel on the language used to define it.

The added value of the course:

  • the course is hands-on and exercise-driven;
  • the course is limited in number to ensure a higher quality of interaction between speaker and participants;
  • 1-year access to registration;
  • free participation in three 1-hour meetings dedicated to further questions, clarifications and practice.

Why organize such a course?

My goal is to help people be more free. Language is a fundamental part of everyday life, through which we can inspire people to pursue their dreams or instill the most unhealthy ideas. Here is where having tools to navigate language, while also becoming able to create a space between it and us, can really make a first difference in the quality of our lives. It is this added quality that I want to bring to the audience.
